Goal of this project

The Data Quality Rule Wiki aims at collecting and providing internationally agreed and used Data Quality Rules to accelerate the process of Data Quality Management

Who runs this project

The Data Quality Rules Wiki is a project by the Information Quality Institute.

Isn't Data Quality Subjective?

In general, yes. But there are a lot of generally accepted standards such as syntax rules regarding email-addresses, verhicle identification numbers or article numbers.

Moreover, there a commonly provided legal value lists such as the UN-Codes for Countries or Currencies. With this wiki, we aim at providing a central collection of all of these rules so you can use the for free to improve your Data Quality.

How can I use it? The wiki is open to the public. Every registered user is able to propose new Data Quality Rules that should be added to this collection.

Moreover, everyone can use the provided Data Quality Rules as long as you properly attribute this project.
